VMO Managing Director John Mero has twenty five years experience as a trainer, facilitator, reviewer, planner and keynote presenter. He has consulted to over five hundred organizations and trained over four thousand directors and managers. He has written widely on governance and management issues. John has earned his recognition as a dynamic and motivational leader and public speaker who possesses the knowledge and experience required to assist boards and management teams to excel. He specializes in board and executive performance development, business acumen enhancement, organization reviews and planning processes. His remarkably broad range of experience sees VMO being sought to provide services in a range of settings. With a background as a successful business owner, career experience in both the public service and commercial organizations, and a long history of involvement in non profit organizations, John is able to take a practical approach that stems from knowledge of what is required of leaders, and experience of what works. In addition to his role as Managing Director of Vision Method Outcome Pty. Ltd., John directs property, superannuation and art businesses and is the Chairman of Business Communication Images Pty Ltd. He is a Fellow at the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Born in Canada, John travels extensively and resides with his family in Melbourne, Australia.
